Hotel Svala offers a work exchange and residency for people who want more than a visit- real presence on a quiet island in the Finnish archipelago. In exchange for contributing to a project that benefits the hotel and basic costs, you stay with us, eat with us, and have the run of Kumlinge. It suits designers, writers, makers, and anyone who works better when the only distraction is the Baltic. Minimum stay one week.
