Introducing ourselves , a welcome from Kumlinge

We held an open house and invited everyone to come for coffee. We were touched so many Kumlingebor showed up — some with flowers, some with jars of local jam, all with stories of the hospital and the parties that used to happen here. We were touched so many neighbors showed up to meet us, even a few gifts of flowers and local jams and well wishes. We met wonderful islanders with stories of the hospital and the parties at the old hotel. We have inherited a happy place and hope to continue these communal stories for years to come. Such a lovely welcome.
